Contact your student as soon as you can. In rare cases, a student may not show up due to a technical issue or a personal emergency. A student must contact their teacher as soon as they can to let them know they cannot make it to a lesson or class. It is up to the teachers to decide if the lesson is rescheduled, canceled or due. Most of the time, a teacher will be more inclined to accept a postponement with students he already knows and who rarely have this kind of problems but the teacher will ultimately take the decision without having to contact Oh My French.
Oh My French applies a strict rule to all its users: neither party can reschedule or cancel a service 24 hours before the start of the said service. Your student may warn you in advance and it is up to the teachers to allow the lesson to be canceled, rescheduled or due. Most of the time, a teacher will be more inclined to accept a postponement with students he already knows and who rarely have this kind of problems. In case both parties agreed on canceling the service and processing to a refund, despite the 24-hour rule, contact Oh My French immediately. Go to your “CALENDAR” page, send Oh My French a message and write the lesson ID as well as the name of the parties who agreed on canceling the service. Oh My French will make sure everyone has agreed on processing to the cancelation and refund before taking any action.
